Fix an incorrect script split
Move the boundary between adjacent pages before marking so every student script contains the correct complete paper. wrong page split, pages attached to wrong student, drag to split, incorrect script boundaryAn incorrect split means the page boundary between two student scripts is in the wrong place. Correct it during import review so scores, annotations and student matching are attached to the right complete paper.
Find the affected scripts
In the import review, open the two neighbouring script cards around the incorrect boundary. Identify the last page that belongs to the first student and the first page that belongs to the next student.
Look for evidence such as candidate names, page numbers, question sequence and handwriting. Do not rely only on the expected page count when an assessment allows extra pages.
Move the boundary
-
Open the split control
Select the divider between the two affected script cards.
-
Drag to the correct page
Move the boundary until every page above it belongs to the first student and every page below it belongs to the next.
-
Review both scripts
Open each card from first page to last and confirm that question order and handwriting remain consistent.
-
Confirm the import
Select Done only after the script count and every nearby boundary are correct.
If several splits are wrong
Check the template page count and the original scan before correcting every boundary by hand. A missing, duplicated or unexpected extra page can shift all later splits.
If the source file itself is incomplete, cancel the import, repair the scan and begin again. Keep the original scan until the class set has been fully checked.
If the import was already completed
Stop marking the affected scripts and email help@mynib.app with the assessment state, the pages involved and whether any marks or annotations have already been added. Avoid deleting the assessment until you have confirmed the safest recovery route.
