Does Nib work without an internet connection?
Yes. The core marking workflow is local-first and works on your iPad without a connection. Features that use iCloud or online services wait until a connection is available.
How do paper scripts get into Nib?
Scan with the camera or import PDFs and photos. Nib can split the stack into one script per student automatically, and you can correct boundaries with drag-to-split.
Can I mark directly with Apple Pencil?
Yes. You can tick, circle, write and annotate on the script while structured scores and reusable feedback remain beside the answer.
What happens if I delete something by mistake?
Supported deleted records remain recoverable in Nib for 30 days before they are permanently removed.
