Export assessment results
Complete a final quality check and export one authoritative set of marks, analysis or returned scripts without duplicating data entry. export grades, download marks, assessment CSV, marked PDF exportExport only after every required question is marked and the review queue is clear. Nib calculates totals and question-level analysis from the recorded marks, so the export should be the final output of one checked record rather than a second hand-maintained copy.
Run the final review
Check the assessment overview for:
- unmarked or unattempted questions;
- scripts or answers still flagged for review;
- unexpected totals or grade assignments;
- missing student matches;
- rubric overrides that need another look.
Open any exception and resolve it before generating the final files.
Choose what to export
-
Open the assessment results
Move from the completed marking view to the assessment’s results and analysis area.
-
Select an export
Choose the result table, analysis or marked scripts needed for the next system or person.
-
Check the destination
Use an organisation-approved location and avoid saving student data into a personal or shared destination that is not appropriate.
-
Open the exported file
Confirm the student identifiers, headings, marks and page annotations before treating the export as complete.
Check tabular results
When exporting marks for a spreadsheet or management information system, keep stable identifiers and clear column headings. Verify that totals, maximum marks and any grade labels agree with Nib’s final assessment view.
Check returned scripts
Open several exported marked papers on a different viewer if possible. Confirm that handwriting, comments, scores and page order remain readable and that no student’s pages appear in another student’s file.
If an export is incomplete
Return to Nib and check whether the affected answer was still unmarked, flagged or not attached to the expected student. Correct the source record, then create a fresh full export.
